1,000,000 UAH for the Front: Drones That Save Lives. Donation Report from Bitmedia Labs

Thanks to these funds, the foundation team was able to quickly close four urgent requests from units operating in the Donetsk direction — delivering drones and equipment that save the lives of our defenders every day.

Eyes that spot the enemy first. Hands that hold not weapons, but the controls of FPV drones. Equipment that allows fighters not only to defend themselves, but to act ahead of the enemy. This is what the modern frontline looks like — technological, flexible, and in critical need of high-quality equipment.

This time, we at the Bit Spilka Foundation had a unique opportunity to rapidly strengthen several units in the Donetsk direction thanks to a donation of 1,000,000 UAH from Bitmedia Labs in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These funds were distributed among four targeted requests received from military units that hold the line on the front every day.

What exactly was delivered thanks to this donation:

• 20 FPV drones for DIU special forces. Among them were not only classic kamikaze drones, but also several units with AI integration: target guidance, target lock, and improved accuracy.
• 20 FPV drones for a marine battalion. A similar package to the one for the DIU, including the necessary batteries and components for long autonomous operation.
• 2 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters for another DIU unit. They are used for aerial reconnaissance, fire adjustment, and detecting enemy positions from a safe distance.
• 1 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopter for the 141st Separate Mechanized Brigade. A reliable reconnaissance drone for a motorized infantry battalion operating in difficult close-combat conditions.

Why this matters:

Today, drones are not a luxury, but a daily necessity. They are the eyes of units that allow them to see the enemy earlier, act more accurately, and avoid losses. They are protection tools that make it possible to work from a distance, saving the lives of operators.

Every piece of equipment we delivered is already performing combat tasks. We receive photos, videos, and words of gratitude that once again remind us: even small actions can become a strategically important advantage on the battlefield.
