A Donation That Saves Lives
One million hryvnias from Bitmedia Labs helped the foundation close critical requests on the Donetsk axis and deliver equipment to Ukrainian units and Defence Intelligence.
How can I helpWhen Bitmedia Labs allocated 1,000,000 UAH to the Bit Spilka Foundation, it was more than a charitable gesture — it was targeted support for those defending the country. Thanks to this donation, the foundation was able to promptly close critical requests from units conducting combat operations on the Donetsk axis. Bitmedia Labs’ initiative also became more than financial support: it is a clear example and signal that business can and should be a driving force for change in society.
Equipment purchased with the donated funds
The funds were used to purchase high-tech equipment that helps Ukrainian service members carry out combat tasks more effectively:
20 FPV drones for Defence Intelligence special forces
Among them: kamikaze drones and several units with artificial intelligence, guidance, and target acquisition systems — modern weapons that enable precision strikes on enemy positions.
20 FPV drones for a marine infantry battalion
A similar set, supplemented with batteries, allowing more combat sorties without long downtime.
2 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters for another Defence Intelligence unit
These drones provide quality aerial reconnaissance, helping troops detect the enemy at long range and adjust artillery fire.
1 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopter for a motorized infantry battalion of the 141st Separate Mechanized Brigade
Precision aerial reconnaissance is critical; this drone will help soldiers operate even more effectively in combat.
Modern drones do more than strengthen our defenders — they save lives. FPV drones act as precision weapons that can destroy enemy equipment without putting our soldiers at unnecessary risk. Reconnaissance quadcopters help avoid ambushes, find enemy weaknesses, and operate as effectively as possible.
Initiatives like this show how important it is for companies to focus not only on business growth but also on actively addressing social challenges — corporate responsibility to society matters no less than market success. The more businesses join such efforts, the more support we can provide to our military and to people facing hardship. Every step counts; together we can do more!
