Humanitarian Aid: August Summary
A children’s rehabilitation center in Vinnytsia Oblast has received new furniture for its children’s rooms.
How can I help youIn June, the Bit Spilka Foundation provided the same center with a 27-inch iMac. In August, we returned to the center with additional assistance.
The furniture in the children’s rooms had remained old and in poor condition for years, as there were not enough funds to replace it. Despite this, the center’s staff carried out cosmetic renovations themselves to make the rooms more comfortable and welcoming for the children.
This need was met thanks to another generous contribution from our donor in Luxembourg, Michael Morris. He has supported the Foundation’s initiatives on several occasions; it was also thanks to Michael that the center received an iMac in June.
We are grateful to him and to everyone who is willing to respond promptly to such requests and help address urgent needs.
It is never too late to contribute to humanitarian aid. The Foundation collects clothing, furniture, hygiene products, and other essential items on an ongoing basis and distributes them to children’s homes, shelters, and families facing difficult circumstances.
If you have items you are willing to donate, our volunteers will help give them a second life. Please note: all donated items must be clean and in good condition. If an item has an expiration date, it must still be valid.
