Humanitarian Aid: June Highlights
In April, the Bit Spilka Foundation delivered food packages to nine families in Vinnytsia region. In June, we returned to them with a different kind of help.
How can I help youDuring the April visit, volunteers noticed something: when a family is struggling to afford food, bedding and hygiene items often get pushed aside. So in June, the Foundation delivered 25 sets of bed linens to the children in those same families.
Also in June, our volunteers visited a children's rehabilitation center in Vinnytsia region and donated a 27" iMac. This equipment was a gift from Michael Morris, a benefactor of the Foundation from Luxembourg who supports Bit Spilka's humanitarian initiatives. Michael entrusted the Foundation to decide where this item would be most useful, and our volunteers chose the children's rehabilitation center.
It's never too late to get involved. The Foundation continuously collects clothing, bedding, hygiene products, and other essentials — and delivers them to orphanages, shelters, and families facing difficult circumstances. If you have such items and are willing to share them, our volunteers will help give them a new life. Important: items must be clean and in good condition; if they have an expiration date, it must still be valid. Fill out the application form on our website — volunteers will get in touch and find the place where your contribution will do the most good.
If you'd like to join as a Foundation volunteer, you can also fill out the application form on our website. We always need helping hands.
